K-2SO - Star Wars Celebration

Whilst working for Creature Cantina in February 2023, my team created a life size K-2S0 unit that featured in the 'Star Wars Celebration 2023' in the ExCel in London. The droid's first appearance was in 'Rogue One' (2016) and due to its distinctive and interesting design, it makes for a great showpiece model for fans to enjoy.
Along with other projects, the construction of this life-size model took nearly two months. My contribution was mainly on producing the shape the droid. This involved creating a rigid internal structure, creation and assembly of body sections, reinforcement, removal of seam-lines and 3D print layers and surface smoothing. All my team had as reference were a few pages from a Rogue One magazine.
